Anyone know what this might be "warning toe photo"

Sorry about the photo, my husband has had this on the inside of his little toe for about a year, it sometimes flares up and is red and painful to walk. Could it be a corn on the inside of a toe, or a verruca, any ideas?

Pharmacy would be able to identify and give you something for it.

Is it itchy? Athlete’s foot?

(Love the photo - can’t see the problem that clearly but lovely toe!)

I can't see if it's the same thing, but I had a little sore "cut" like thing by my big toe and Google suggested it was athletes foot. Cured very quickly with some athletes foot cream. Worth a try?

Little toe, not big toe!!

I think it’s a corn. They’re caused by rubbing I think so can happen there.

Ask the pharmacist to take a look.

My guess would be a verruca.

Also might be as simple as the nail of the next toe along being pushed into it - made worse by a combo of shoes/nail trim/warmer feet.

Thanks everyone, he's said he'll go to the chemist and ask about treatment options.
