DD has a very red bottom and is in folds of skin-could it be fungal and if it is what is good for it?

It could be fungal.
I would try something good for plain ordinary nappy rash first - Metanium usually knocks it on the head, together with frequent nappy changes.
If it does not get better within a few days get some canasten from the chemist and try a tiny bit of that.

ds and dd both had thrush - they caught it from me which I got from the hospital during my csection with DD. Had to go to doctor. DS is 2.5 so he could have much stronger stuff began with a c.... Be worth taking her asap as it gets worse quite quickly if it is thrush.

It is better today and we have had some nappy free time (and one poo on the floor as mum was not quick enough to catch it), but still red so will try metanium and then take to docs if still not clearing up. Thanks for advice.
