My nearly 3 yr old dd has recently started blinking - like a nervous twitch. Not very frequent but when very tired or when I tell her off! Do you think she needs glasses?

Although not an optician, I would say no. If she only does it when tired, I think this is the reason - when you get tired, your eyes get dry, therefore you blink more to keep them lubricated (good word, that!). Also, children do tend to "flinch"/"blink" (although that sounds like the telling off is more like a beating which I didn't mean it to sound like) when told off.

If you are concerned, get her eyes checked out but I wouldn't be too concerned.
