And if so, why can't I find anything about it on the Internet? All sources seem to suggest symptoms of PMT disappear once period starts. Not for me - I am def noticing pattern of tension during period.

Magnesium OK tablets. They have magnesium and calcium and, probably more significantly given the levels therein, various Vitamin B (2500% of B6 )

I've really noticed a difference taking these though, not supposed to be good long term but I use them after I've had a really bad one.

my nan had 13......[pokes tongue out]!

it is sad....and to be honest tis probably why PMT and all the gynae problems are reletively new too......in the past, women just had baby on baby on baby and then died so there was never any space to know if there was regular cycles or pmt (or even DMT).

I so wish that it wasn't so shocking to have big families amymore.....tis lovely (IMO obviously).

makes for expensive times tho mowadays.....back then they all slept in one room and one bed....now kiddies seem to think it their right to have a whole bed to themselves......

I suffer the day before and up to two days in. I thought that was normal!

I changed from being on microgynon to something else as I would turn into an axe-wielding maniac on the pill free week.

I expect it is normal Colditx, I was just taking the P in PMT too literally. Also, my initial search on Google seemed to suggest that the symptoms disappear with the commencement of menstruation.

Not here they don't!

In fact if I had started this thread last week, it would've had an entirely more desperate tone... so probably best I didn't.

Psychomum5 - can't decide if you are psycho because you have PMT or because you have 5 children

I'm 32 so southeast is probably right - being punished for not having the requisite 11 children.

Will look at magnesium tabs and hot water bottle to shopping list - good idea. Anyone tried Agnus Castus?
