My DS(8) has just come back from school saying that hew as just in the toilet and was putting liquid soap into his hands to wash them, this boy came in and told him to look at the soap in his hands, my ds did this then the horrible urchin boy slapped my sons hands upwards so the soapy hand went straight into his eye, the teacher has rinsed it with saline wash and says it will be ok, but i phoned the docs and they said to get it checked out, i have an appointment for 20 past 4 but my dad and dh reckon theres no need for him to go, what do u think?

i would take him just to get checked out. If it gets worse you'll end up at A&E over the weekend

I am too late, but I would say that you should trust the Drs opinion over that of your dad and dh, since the Dr has years of medical training!
