I spent most of yesterday in A&E with my DD (9 months). She had a raging temperature. The consultant eventually said she has a UTI - how I don't know. But anyway, we got antibiotics etc.

I'm trying to keep her temperature down with ibuprofen and Calpol as advised by the doctors, plus the antibiotic syrup. She keeps vomiting it all up. She just wants to sleep and sleep. She won't eat anything apart from breastmilk when she was always a happy eater before.

I took her to A&E again last night at 11pm when her temperature soared to 40 degrees. They thought I was being daft when ibuprofen and Calpol should control it, they said but she can't keep it down. Sigh.

I'm really worried. Should I just leave her to sleep and just monitor her temperature? She's miserable when she's awake (since Weds) and I just want to help her.

Any advice please?
