Have a smear on Monday and have developed thrush - can it still go ahead?

Just not sure if it can still happen. Have been on antibiotics and it's triggered thrush annoyingly. Smear overdue so would rather have it but don't want to push for it if not possible or it's not great for the nurse doing it!!

I’ve been told I had thrush as part of the results of a smear so I have had one unknowingly with it.

Ah ok maybe it will be ok. I just hope it's not too mucky for the poor nurse!

Why not reschedule when your thrush free?

Trixiefirecracker · 08/05/2022 09:29

I wouldn’t go. Reschedule.

Thanks - I'm first appointment of the day so won't be able to reschedule so think I will just go and speak to them
