Can you give Meltus (cough remedy ) and Calpol/Medised at the same time?

Hi, ds 17mo, has had a 'green/yellow' nose since Sunday and Medised has helped keep it at bay. He's now developed the same horrible chesty cough I have and has been up in the night. We've given Meltus which seems to have soothed his throat. The cough hasn't appeared in the day, thankfully.

Does anyone know if you can give Meltus and Medised (or Calpol) at the same time? Meltus doesn't have any paracetomol in it but has lots of long-lettered ingredients so I'm nervous to do it. Will ring a chemist later but thought I'd ask you now as it's so early and ds has been coughing for the last 5 mins!

TIA
