bruises.....big, black and lumpy???!!!! advice please........

i fell down the stairs yesterday and have a very large bruise on my bum! im slightly concerned as it is very dark,almost black and hard and lumpy. it has got worse throughout today,is this anything to worry about?

take homeopathic arnica to speed up healing?

I imagine the lump is a hematoma (pool of blood)from the impact?

thats what i thought pelvic, im a heavy girl so impact on my bottom would have been BIG!
a hematoma isnt dangerous though is it?![scared emoticon]

Well i'm not qualified to say but i don't think so, i think it is just an internal area where the blood pools.

I always get hard painful lumps under biggish bruises - just sort of thought it was normal...

Meant to say,i have had thousands of bruises in my time as i am serial bruiser
