Last Monday I started feeling a lot of trapped wind, Tuesday I felt a sort of wishy washy stomach, the sort when you have the shits. Had a few loose movements but not enough to warrant the amount of churning, stomach churned all Tuesday night, Wednesday too Thursday I felt delicate but could still function then Friday I started feeling a lot better. I stuck to simple food like plain pasta as didn’t really fancy much. Saturday I felt strangely amazing, even more energy than when I’m not unwell and just felt awesome. Sunday I ate porridge for breakfast some halloumi with lunch and then roast lamb and now I’m back to square one , churning stomach, hot than cold, weak.
Has anyone had similar? I’m wondering is maybe the cheese set something off as I know people can be very delicate with dairy after illness.
Im talking to my doctor later this week but just wondered if anyone had any ideas or had experienced similar.

Apologies if the start of this sounds like a Craig David song.

Norovirus been making its round again.
It went through my whole house 2 weekends ago it was vile! We were all vomiting on the first day. Then I just felt nauseous after that but DH had the shits bad for a day where he was following through it was horrible. Then we were fine (lasted 48h) but then randomly DH farted and shat himself at work this week.
It affects everyone differently but maybe you've had a bout of it?

Or maybe you've developed an intolerance. Lactose intolerance maybe seen as you've mentioned it started again after halloumi ?

Haphazardhacker · 02/05/2022 08:43

Im thinking lactose intolerance but when I Google it says the issues will start 30 minutes to two hours after eating lactose and this was 2am this morning it started up again so I’m wondering maybe it just took a while or my gut just wasn’t ready for cheese

Thing is with Noro I’d expect to have proper shits at least and I’ve not I’ve just had the most unbearable gurgling with nausea
