Had my lo weighed today, hv weighed and my lo is barely 12.5kg, nearly 3 and a half.

Dropped in weight according to the scale.

Am really concerned know about what I should do.

Best ways to let a child put on extra weight.

I know my lo is going to petite, but concerned about the weight issue.

Advice would be appreciated.

I don't know if I can be of much help. You may be best posting this on Food or Recipes.

IMO, plenty of homemade food and food as close to how nature intended it to bed (ie not processed) is the best way to feed your children and yourself.

I know that avocados are rich in many nutrients and calories. Babies in Special Care are given this as their weaning food because of this.

Bumping for you.

Things like seeds and nuts have lots of really good things in them and have quite a lot of calories. Bread with peanut butter/avocado pear would be a good sandwich. Dried fruit is a useful snack. Some people drink a small glass of olive oil for breakfast! Malt is good to spread on toast. If your child finds it tolerable, you can get malt with codliver oil. My dcs like it although I can't stand the stuff!

If appetite is a problem it may help to ask your gp.
