Could be a sun spot. If it is regular shaped (ie round and not raggedy edged) not red, not sore and does not change, you don't need to worry.

Tis quite common during and just after pregnancy for new moles to turn up btw. (Don't know if that applies to you).

Right, so was your pregnancy before or after your wedding - because I have a fair few new ones which showed up when I was pregnant with DD (she's 14 months) and they have stuck around.

ROFL at you trying to scratch it off though. You do only need to get it checked if it changes. New moles do appear with age (sorry I know you are only a baby, but around 25 they can start to show up). I had a melanoma on my hand when I was about your age. You would have immediately known it wasn't a regular mole. But you can get it checked if you are worried anyway next time you go - I'm sure you are going for your yearly smear or something soon right? Ask then.

Yes fine thanks, skin cancer is not a fast growing disease and I have had a few melanomas so I knew what to look out for.

BTW this is what age spots look like. Obviously this is an arm and you are wayyyy too young for them to get this bad.
