Hi All, I have a 14mo dd. When she was born I swore to myself that I would not feed her ready made baby food and that I would make all food. However, during first year my mother was very poorly and was in and out of hospital so I succumbed to baby food. It has now got to stop. I have tried giving her some of the food we eat and she just screams. Have you any tips to help me and possibly any recipes I could try. Many Thanks in advance.

You could try mixing what you are having with the jars...only a small amount of what you are having at first and then increase the amount so that she is eventually eating the same as you...how is she with finger foods etc?

Hi, she is fine with finger foods. She has toast, cheese, treats, loads of fruit. It is juts the main meals that I am struggling with.

I would try offering her finger foods at every meal so you know she is eating something plus a small amount of normal food for her to try and experiment with and leave out jar foods altogether.

She just needs time to adjust to the different taste and texture.
