oooh that's interesting. My kidneys ache too and I bruise easily. I've been wondering about the kidneys recently.

Do you think we've found a syndrome?

Is that wise? Personally I've been scared of googling this incase something nasty comes up. Although I am dehydrated (nothing to do with wine m'lud), I don't drink nearly enough water.

Oh that's interesting KerryMum (although you're not quite reassuring me with the new name ).

Can you think of anything different you were doing? Less wine? Healthier eating? Being pg? More water?

nortynamechanger · 10/01/2008 10:24

Mother Funk I cannot take iron tablets as they make my kidneys hurt! I drink lots of water.

I bruise very easily, am always absolutely covered and DH says "how did you get that (huge purple lump)?" Me "I don't know".

I did have a massive PPH but this was put down to an underactive thyroid.

I know I am not iron deficient, despite not being a meat eater, as I am a blood doner and they alway comment on how heavy my blood is (when they drop it in the tube to test it).

I cannot take pharmaton as makes me seriously nauseated, most vits do.

I am seeing my Endocrinologist next week, will ask him.

Don;t google! You will get all sorts of awful stuff. Just go talk to your GP
