Fertility acupuncturist in Essex?

nobodysfool · 08/01/2008 22:48

I wondered if anybody has used and can recommend an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility in Essex?
How much were the sessions and how often did you go?
My nearest large town is Southend but i don't mind travelling a bit for the right person.
TIA.

Have you thought about maya abdominal massage, i know of the lady who does it (a fellow doula) and i also know of people who havev got pregnant after using it.

www.birthvision.co.uk/page4.htm

I dont know of any acupuncturists though. altough there must be a national website for them.

Hello hertsnessex-I have never heard of maya massage will look into it.I have endo and irregular cycles and am an erractic ovulator.
I had a look on the acupuncturist site but they are all to far away. Thanks for your help.

i had endo and pcos. i fell preg all 3 times v quickly - i truly believe some of it is knowing you are doing something to 'help yourself' as it were - like the massage as they teach you to do it yourself. what about reflexology? i havev heard that helps. how long have you been ttc?

nobodysfool · 09/01/2008 13:46

I already have a ds who is 2 and a half.We have only just started ttc as i had an ovarian cyst removed before christmas.Just want to give myself the best poss chance.
What did you do to help yourself?

I relaxed. i didnt temp/chart or anything. but i did 'believe' that what was meant to be will be. i didnt really believe it was going to happen so soon but i made sure i was taking the right sorts of vitamins etc.

but i had 'accepted' that i wasnt going to be a mum very early on when i was told i couldnt have children.

i think not putting pressure on yourself is the best place to start. try not to let TTC take over, you know you can do it already as you have a DS. i also had cysts - but never removed.

good luck, have fun trying!!!!
