Best App to remind DD to drink water

Late teens DD, by her own admission, doesn’t drink enough water (or squash, tea, etc)
She is really tired all the time, her skin ain’t great and she understands dehydration is probably a part of the issue.
I’ve noticed there are lots of apps to help you to remember to drink water; has anyone used one and can recommend?

And yes, she should just drink when she’s thirsty and she shouldn’t need an app to tell her but this dehydration issue has been going on for some time now and I’m now really concerned. If an app helps, then let’s get her an app.

TIA

Not an app but Joseph Joseph do a bottle where you can keep track of how many times you have refilled it which helped my DSC.

Thank you. I shall take a look for that now.

Could you just use a recurring alarm on her phone ?

NotTheOW · 14/04/2022 07:07

You could but I think some kids like having targets and an app or something to track it.

Mine have marked water bottles showing times so you need to have drank this much by 10am etc.

That's clever!

Something like Plant Nanny? Haven't tried it but DC uses something plant- based for revision (the plants dehydrate if she uses her phone when she should be revising) and seems to motivate her.

Straws are helpful, too, as it's less effort full than picking up a glass! Maybe some pretty reusable ones.

Thanks for the replies/ideas
We bought reusable straws last year and DD does use them for choice.
I’ll take a look at that app.

The app "drink water" is free and gives reminders through the day and lets you track what you're consuming
