When you take the mat out of bag for class, Do they not go all rolled up at the ends from being in the bag? I thinking about getting my own mat in a bag/rolled up with handles but surely when i get it out once a week it wont lie flat?

I've got one and yes, it does lie flat - once I lie on it!!!! then again, I don't think mine has been out of the bag for about 6 months - the shame!

You turn it over then lie on it .Heavily. My cheapy from TKMaxx tries to roll up but I flatten it into submission (evil laugh)

haha! Just started classes and was really grossed out lying all over other peoples sweat! Just trying to work out wether to get one in a bag or just with carry straps?! Decisions decisions!

Mine has straps attached but one has broken. It was VVVV cheap though.

And thickness not a prob - if its a bit thin, lie it on top of one supplied by the instructor.

mad4mybaby · 08/01/2008 21:51

any idea what thickness places usually have? I need TWO of theirs as v thin

I hate the really thin ones but it depends on the floor aswell.

Just to let you all know............... LIDL have yoga mats for £4.99 this week! I bought one the other day.

yogimum · 08/01/2008 22:09

sparkler where do you do yoga?

I joined our newly refurbished leisure centre a few months ago and they do a class there. I've only done it once so far (injured my calf muscle in another keep fit class) but I would like to go back again as soon as leg better.
