I would take her back, personally. Both my dds had eczema at this age: dd1 still gets the odd patch at 4, dd2 hasn't had any for the last four months (she's 14 months). GP gave me Doublebase and mild steroid ointment, I always put some Doublebase on dd morning and night and ointment on flare-ups (red patches), and they disappear fast. IME, if you deal with patches of eczema quickly and effectively, it never gets to the bleeding/scratching cycle stage...but I suppose it depends on how severe it is, dd1's isn't that bad.

Eczema is very common at 7 months, and often vanishes by the time LOs are 2....hope your dd's does!

Def go back.

Oilatum Bath never worked for my son either, it actually made it worse.

We use Balneum for the bath, Doublebase cream as required and Euvomate (Eumovate?)steroid cream when flares up really bad.

My dd has excema - she is now ten months. Go back to your doctor and ask for Aveeno - they usually try various lotions first as Aveeno is quite expensive but it is the only cream that helps my dd. Also if it gets bad and infected you will prob be prescribed an antibiotic/steroid cream. These are really effective. I have had to change my dd onto soya formula on the advice of the doctor.
