Completely random, woke up to proper throbbing in my lower calf. No injury there unlessy partner kicked me accidently in sleep. Anyone had this? It doesn’t look red or swollen as I thought of blood clot but it’s something I haven’t had before, anyone have any advice or suggestions as to have to get rid of the pain? The pain has decreased since I’ve been awake it was worse when I first woke up but still there a bit. An

I’ve woke up to cramp in the back of my calf so completely random but it’s not red or swollen just cramping, but both legs look exactly the same but I’ve just woken up like it. Don’t know if it’s a pinched muscle or if dh kicked me there by accident in the night

Magnesium is supposed to help in the medium term

When it occurs. Stand up and stretch out your leg as much as you can. It's the one remedy that immediately gets rid of my cramp.

I have had it before btw, also in bed. It's awful and feels like you've been stabbed. I had a period of getting it very often. I still don't know why. I used to check the next day for a bruise or a mark, I would always think, how could something hurt that bad and not leave a lasting mark?
