I give in, I’ve had a shit bladder since I was a teen, peed myself a few times at school and often got damp pants from being too slow, but it’s getting worse and worse. Once I feel the need to go I get a few minutes to get to the loo or I’m fucked, I think it’s psychological because the minute I see the loo it’s even more urgent, not to mention the front door. I’ve always just dealt with it but I’ve just had to leave work pretending I’ve vomited as I’m soaked, they’re short handed and I feel awful but I don’t fit in the scrubs and had no pants. I’ve finally scheduled a doctors appointment but what’s wrong with me?

Also I’ve been doing kegels since I was a teen too

One more thing - if you are only 23 and have been doing kegels since you were a teen, I would be tempted to ease up for the time being, as they are clearly not helping. You could actually have a hypertonic pelvic floor (too tense), rather than a weak pelvic floor. This can cause bladder symptoms, including urge incontinence. It might be worth googling this to see if any of the other symptoms which go with a hypertonic pelvic floor sound familiar. If you get to the stage of seeing a urologist, I would ask about this and whether it would be worth ruling it out as a cause.

My Dr describes what I have as hormonal incontinence. When I'm on my period I don't have much control with my bladder. To save the embarrassment of accidents I wear always discreet during the day I find them so discreet as well! I have to wear boots staydry night pants at night while on my period. I feel so embarrassed when I have to wear them but it's so much better waking up in a dry bed then a wet one. Blush
