dd, nearly 6mths has been pooing regularly ie up to 8 times a day now for the last 5 wks. Poo sample sent and came back as no bugs or viruses. Just wondered if she has a allergy or intolerence to anything. Does anybody have any experience. She is otherwise well. Not weaned yet.

is she bf? If so do you have alot of oranges/vit c?

Not breastfeeding. Last night between 8.30 and 6am she poo'd 5 times. This can't be normal. Trying her with wysoy for 2 wks to see what happens.

My ds has dairy allergy plus soya intollerance. He was v ill for first 9ish months. Sever reflux on medication etc. My dietician said an allergy is something that happens straight away and is a severe reaction whereas intolerance is something that taks 24-48 hours to show affect. Cutting out the dairy is a good move. Dont rule out soya intollerance if wysoy doesnt make a diff
