I have just found this on my leg, doesn't hurt but looks like a burn.
Except I have not burnt myself on my leg recently.
Will try and get to a pharmacist tomorrow.
Had a VERY stressful situation yesterday, could it be related to that?

Spider bite? I had one on my hand - felt like a burn too. Hope you are OK OP.

But it doesn't feel like a burn. Not painful bat all. Had a smaller one down the leg a but as well that I accidentally popped. Will def try and get to a pharmacist today.

Could it be a chemical burn? It looks like a drip like mark around it, definitely see a pharmacist as a minimum

Cellulitis?

EIisheva · 28/03/2022 02:39

That’s impetigo.
I had one like that,
It looked like a yellow fruit pastille but it was absolutely enormous.

So there were two? Do they hurt or itch or prickle? I cant work out the actual size of that or where it is. Coupd ot be the start of shingles? I had it recently. Started with a couple of tiny blisters that got redder then loads more suddenly appeared. If you do develop more and it might be shingles uou need antivirals from a&e. hopefully it's not that and wil vanish as fast as it appeared!

Looks like the start of cellulitis, but could be wrong.

museumum · 28/03/2022 18:47

My leg reacts like that to a horsefly bite.

VeryQuaintIrene · 28/03/2022 18:49

If there's any chance that it's cellulitis, please get it looked at ASAP. Not to scare you but I ignored mine and ended up with sepsis and in intensive care.

Ah didn't know anyone had replied to this. I had it looked at at the local walk in. It was a burn from a hot water bottle. It took 20 hours after using hot water bottle to notice it and as it didn't hurt I didn't make the connection.
Anyway nice Dr at the walk in center popped it for me and sent me home with some dressings.
I was going to go to a pharmacy but my partner insisted I get it looked at by a Dr.
