chesty cough only at night

dd is 13mths... has chesty cough, sounds rough... only has it at night... doctor listened to her chest yesterday and said nothing wrong... anything to worry about do you think?

has she had a cold at all? dd1 is coughing atm as snot is running down the back of her throat. try propping up one end of the cot.

Agree with misdee - try and prop her head end up iyswim to help her breathe.

ds2 and ds3 have both got coughs at the moment and they are only v. occasionally coughing in the day and more at night - that's very normal.

If the GP has listened to her chest and it's clear then there is no infection so I don't think I'd be worried unless it was very persistent and didn't clear up in a week. Then I'd go back I think.

Don't think you need to worry though.

no cold... bit snotty nose today but not much she had this cough a few weeks back... doctor gave her antibiotics and it went....
