My nearly two year old started getting red and dry skin around his eye and mouth in autumn and it hasn't cleared up. We have taken him to the doctor many times and steroid creams help when being used but it comes back the day after we stop. I'm trying to find a cause and thought I might be able to find help on mumsnet. He doesn't itch or scratch his eyes and it looks a lot better in the morning and then gets worse throughout the day? Any ideas why this would be as everything I have read suggest eczema gets worse overnight.
