Why does my DH keep falling asleep?

Does he get enough sleep at night?

has your DH had his iron levels/thyroid levels checked - my mum had problems with falling asleep all the time and that seems to have been linked to anaemia. problems with iron levels and or thyroid levels can also make you feel depressed as well. what is an NAD test?

I asked about sleep at night because my DH is always falling asleep even during conversations

As soon as he sits down he falls asleep

He is a teacher and he has to work so late into the evening gone midnight most nights

So he is always tired.

He says it is OK to keep having cat naps but will fall asleep reading to DS.

He is writing reports now and has been for most of the afternoon.

I told him he should stop at 10pm but he says he has 15 more to do

I think I may go to bed in 10 mins and tell him he needs sleep.

DH diet is quite good and DS is 9 years and so sleeps through.

I keep calling out to him in other room to check he is awake.
