stomach pain on/off for 5 years.. h pylori?

have had upper stomach pain on/off for 5 years.. it comes & goes for days at a time & is debilitating with bloating/tightness/pain.. no bowel symptoms

not affected by what i eat but spend half my life in this excruciating pain

does this sound like h pylori/gastritis? my gp is useless

Have been going through similar this last year. Have had several tests initially they thought it was my Gallbladder (scan ruled that out) then had tests for H pylori (not that!) then thought I was Celiac (tests have come back showing that this was it) changed diet, have had good success with this but pain not totally gone. Now waiting for camera test to check for Hiatus Hernia. So a long road full of tests OP. But hopefully closer to finding out what's going on. What tests has your gp sent you for. Oh I'm on a tablet too for reflux (this was my initial diagnosis) and I'm still on that.

Hope you get it sorted op but you will need to return to your gp to push the issue
