Is it possible to have a stomach bug very mildly?

Last night I had really bad stomach cramps all night which kept waking me up. Today I've felt really nauseous all day and have just been drinking water but I haven't been sick.

I keep hearing about this horrible norovirus thing that's going around, which I'm totally dreading dd getting from school, but I definitely haven't been ill to that degree.

Dd was a bit off her food last week and had a couple of very pale poos which has previously only happened when she's had a tummy bug. But she hasn't actually been ill.

Is it possible we've caught the bug very mildly? Does that mean we won't get it again this season?

I'm very phobic about being sick by the way.
