My sister is having radiation therapy for a thyroid nodule - she lives in a small flat with young kids - would we be better arranging for her to stay in a hotel afterwards? How long do people stay in the hospital after treatment and is there any advice you have about how you prepared/cleaned etc? And anything I can pack for her that could make it all a bit easier?
