....and please don't just say diet although it probably is the only way

Since puberty I've always had a pouchy tummy but since having 3 children I always look like I'm 6 months pregnant. I am 5ft 1in and about 4 stone overweight . When I tense the muscles around the top of my abdomen they go hard but it doesn't change my shape. The muscles on the lower abdomen are also not in bad shape but there is a layer of fat over them so it is difficult to feel them.

What I need is an exercise that will reduce the appearance of late pregnancy but can be done at home as I live in rural France and don't have access to gyms etc. I am ideally looking for something that I can do for about 5 minutes everyday. What I don't want is an exercise that firms up the muscles underneath thus pushing out my gut even further .

I would rather exercise than diet so if there is one that would target this specific area that would be great or do I have to get ris of the flab first?

Tried a dance mat? Lots of fun - bought one for my daughter which plugs into USB port.
It's hard to say as yet; but may be helping decrease the baby bulge! Easy to stop when you need to flop!

If you tighten your waist it should incrememntally tighten that band of muscle around your belly. So start with twists and also what about the plank? Lie on your front then hold yourself up on your elbows and toes with your back straight and stomach muscles tensed for as long as you can hold it - but at least 30 seconds to start.
