Globus pharynges and jaw pain?!

Back story while I'm doing everything not to stick a fork in the back of my throat...

In 2019 I started experiencing this tickling feeling at the back of my throat, like something was stuck. Best way to describe it a piece of popcorn shell that you can't just swallow. GP did bloods, X-rays, nothing there. Tried antibiotics, antihistamines, numbing sprays and tablets. I don't have reflux. Concluded that it was globus caused by anxiety. 2019 was a crazy year, pandemic, a new born baby, moved house, lots of change so anxiety did fit. I stated taking antidepressants. The tickle in my throat did go away but I felt awful, spaced out, flat and disconnected. After a few months of all this not settling I've decided (under gp supervision) to wean myself off the antid's. Really reluctant to take them again.

The 'tickle' occasionally came back, sometimes when I was run down, had a cold etc.

It's back and been getting worse again recently. I now also have jaw joint pain, on the same side and the globus/tickle feeling. I can't actually close my jaw fully. Ibuprofen not touching it.

So now I'm wondering if it's anxiety again - which is making me a lot more anxious!! Or something physical? The feeling in my throat alone is so persistent and annoying, it's hard to explain how annoying.

Anyway, I'll get in touch with my GP tomorrow, see if I can maybe get an ENT referral. Or should it be a dentist appt? I don't know.

In the meantime, any tips on how I can fix it myself would be greatly appreciated!

Could it be tmjd? Have a Google and see if it matches your symptoms
