Ovarian cancer symptoms

I read this article yesterday about how many people don't know what the most common symptoms of ovarian cancer are.

I was a bit concerned that I have all of them Shock. I've spoken to a GP who has arranged blood tests and a scan (although 6 weeks wait for a scan around here).

Has anyone else had all the symptoms and it turn out to be nothing?

The fact is, all of those symptoms are symptoms of numerous other conditions too, so there's no point catastrophising (easier said than done I know)
You've done the right thing by getting checked. There's a blood test which can show raised levels of something (I can't remember what ) and that will be something your gp is checking for. But even a raised level won't necessarily mean ovarian cancer. Bloating is often cited as another symptom, but that can be all kinds of things.
I had blood work done about 18 months ago after some worrying symptoms; all turned out fine. I'd felt quite unwell for several months, feeling 'full', some pains in my abdomen and a lot of indigestion. I also did a stool sample. Nothing ever came back conclusive and after a while the symptoms went away, so I guess it was some bug that laid me low for a while. The thing is, once you notice a few symptoms, your anxiety goes up and that makes you genuinely experience more symptoms, so it's a bit of a vicious circle.

It’s something I am always concerned about especially as I also have IBS and gynae issues including recurring ovarian cysts. I am starting to pay privately for a scan every year just for peace of mind.
