So I had bloods taken around 3 weeks ago at hospital. They did a number of tests

FBC , CBC and a few others

Basically I have health anxiety , everything I notice on my skin I panic ....

Would the drs tell me if I had abnormal results ??

She said all my blood work is fine and that's that..

No anemia or anything like that .

I don't feel tired , I have normal energy etc

But I'm worried I have cancer or blood cancer or something and I'm really struggling . Mentioned all to them saying I'm pale , bruise a lot etc etc

But despite all that my blood work is fine and no further action . Would they tell me if I needed follow up? Or repeat test ? Please can someone put my mind at ease

Yes they would ask you back op if something flagged up, needed repeated, further investigation.

My friend had counselling for his health anxiety and he is so much better.
He like you, anything be noticed on his body would knock him. He would feel his body looking for things.

Yes they would have called you. You have my sympathies, I have health anxiety about me and my children, I feel like it's ruining my life

I’ve worked in blood cancer for 20 years. It’s a medical emergency and you would have been seen again immediately if something was wrong.

This sounds just like me. I also have health anxiety and have just today booked in for blood tests for some symptoms I am having and convinced myself it's a terminal illness. I was told that the gp would get back to me with the results and if all is clear then it is probably my anxiety. I've been referred to cbt iapt yet again too.

I know how hard it is to convince yourself you're ok. If the tests are clear then it is most likely the anxiety. Take care and try to use the techniques that help reduce the fear and anxiety.

I was fine until I saw something on TikTok and then looked at the comments and was like omg I have that ! That's what made me go to a&e in the first place is TikTok . Think videos really need a trigger warning on them because with people like me it worries you too much . 🤦🏼‍♀️ and it goes to show you can have symptoms of stuff and It can be nothing ! Like the bruising , pale skin , slight blood when I brush my teeth . Dr reassured me and said it's normal for me . Which I guess it is Iv always been pale my whole life ! Thought I'd go on TikTok because it makes me happy for abit but nope blood cancer was the first thing that came up ! 🥴

I can totally relate. Tik Tok can be awful for things like this sometimes. But it's great that your tests were clear! It's definitely something to be positive about. 😊

@Cheesewiz it's honestly horrible isn't it ! I'm now starting to worry about others health around me , it's like I tell them they have to go to drs . And they don't ever seem that concerned ! It's so weird , my sister had swollen lymph nodes ( obviously due to infection ) me been me was worried for her and thought the worst ! But she wasn't worried in the slightest ! X

@atz333 yes I suppose so ! My partner keeps trying to reassure me , saying if their was anything it would pop up and they wouldn't just let me leave . Then there's me thinking well what if Iv developed this within 3 weeks , silly thinking I know lol I just want to be normal , but I can't keep putting myself through tests and tests I just can't x
