Can teething cause vomiting?

DS (10mo) has been grizzly with a slight fever all day, we put this down to teething as one of his top ones has just cut through the gum today. At bedtime he cried a lot and then, just after his milk, brought up a huuuuuuge vomit (I'm talking Exorcist-style). DH is worried that this could be a sign of something more serious, I'm not sure, could it just be down to teething?

it can be. DD has been teething terribly. She vomited in the night and seemed to have brought up the entire contents of her stomach. Yet she showed no signs of being ill the next day.
If it is something worse, he'll seem very weak and miserable.

Could be all the excess saliva settling on his stomach and upsetting him, poor love.

Keep an eye on him though, which I'm sure you are doing anyway!
