ds and i both poorly with colds ds coughing alot and his apetite gone. He just wants to be bf. He twenty two months old and since he poorly he become really clingy. When he goes to sleep he wakes up crying and when i try to settle him he clings and wont sleep until i am cuddled up next to him. Is this ok or should i try to getting him to sleep on his own.

It is completely normal for their appetites to go while they're poorly but fluids are really important and breast milk is the best possible thing for him. Does he have a fever at all? If he does you should get him checked out for the old chest infection possibility.... Also - if he worsens or is still poorly, you should get him checked every 3 days to make sure that his lungs are clear and that a bacterial infection that needs to be treated hasn't been missed. It is AWFUL when they're poorly isn't it?
