Eyebrow hair loss and white lashes

So about a year ago I noticed my upper lashes on the outside of my left eye had turned white. I put it down to stress and started having them tinted.
Now I’ve lost the “tail” of the eyebrow on the same side - not turned white, just vanished.
I’m concerned the two may be linked and something else might be going on. Anyone had this?

Ask for a thyroid function blood test?

I’ve done an econsult so will ask for that. If it was thyroid is it not more likely to affect more than just one area?
My hair is thinning too but not in patches and I put it down to age - I’m 52.
