No other symptoms.
Just a horrendous bitter aftertaste.
I mean, bacon sandwiches are so far from bitter...

dd666 · 01/01/2008 16:02

WideWebWitch · 01/01/2008 16:18

pregnant was my thought on reading the thread title too. Possible?

PrismManchip · 01/01/2008 16:19

AM so very definitely not pregnant

No manky teeth I don't think

I have just had hot chocolate but I can't get rid of the taste.

Oh well, I'll either be fine or all my teeth will fall out tomorrow

was it dark choc? that has bitter taste oe could the choc have been going off?
if the coco has seperated that is very bitter!

Naetha · 01/01/2008 16:35

Are you on antibiotics at all? There's one called Metronizadole that gives you a very bitter taste in the mouth, and to be honest is a generally nasty antibiotic!

PrismManchip · 01/01/2008 16:44

No - the choc was fine.
I noticed it starting yesterday evening. Had a few Pringles and thought, yuk, nasty petrochemical-derived artificial food, has left a bad taste in my mouth. Then the roast duck tasted a bit funny.
I didn't notice the whisky being off...
And then again this morning, yuk. Have been drinking water so not overly dehydrated.
Have repeatedly cleaned my teeth, too. I probably have some sort of mouth lurgy. Gross.

Not ketosis? Ketosis gives you a coppery taste in your mouth. You get it from not eating (particularly, not eating carbs), but, charmingly, it destroys your appetite so you don't want to eat.

PrismManchip · 01/01/2008 16:56

Nah, have had that, it's not that, and I am eating.
I am going to blame something in the Pringles.

Oh god we had a google
Basically, lead or copper poisoning
Or horrendous tooth decay
or some sort of dripping downt he back of the throat
I have no sniffles, nothing is dripping, my teeth don't seem to be going black.
It is in the back of my throat
