When did you start feeling better once your ferritin was back up and some other health questions

Hi, hoping for some encouragement. I'm 6 months post partum (c-section with average blood loss). Had low ferritin in late pregnancy, but hemoglobin was fine (I think 120 is the lowest range and mine was 128). I took some supplements, but stopped after birth and ferritin levels were never checked again. End of November (4 months post partum) I started having heart palpitations, heart fluttering, rapid heartbeat, dizziness and feeling generally very unwell. Shortness of breath too and some chest pain. I've been to the GP a few times, I've been to A&E twice, in the UK and abroad over Christmas. I think between September and now I've had at least 4 ECGs done. Lung x ray in September too (for other reasons). Two slots of cardiac markers blood tests done. Blood test for checking blood clots in lungs too. 24 hrs Holter monitor in January. Apparently all is fine with my heart and lungs. Thyroid fine too.
The only thing that was off, was my ferritin level that was 14 in mid-December (lowest range is 13 I believe and they say it should be over 27 for women). Have been taking supplements since and blood test this week showed ferritin level 50. Hemoglobin was very good, 140 I think. I keep having symptoms though and they are very scary and affecting my daily life. What could it be? Can it take a bit longer to start feeling better once ferritin levels are ok? Is 50 ok?
The only other thing I can think of is Pregabalin. I was on it for nerve pain and symptoms started 3 weeks after starting it in November. Discussed it with the GP and they thought better to come off as side effects sound similar and it's not possible to know otherwise. Been off it nearly 2 weeks now, surely any side effects/withdrawal symptoms would be gone by now?
Anxiety has been mentioned a few times - can it really be? I'm a little anxious indeed, but the symptoms feel so physical :-(.
Can anyone advise, please?

I've noticed when it falls below 70. I can feel the difference between 50 and 70. But looking back I was also in peri and hrt has helped a lot more on top.

When you say ecg is it a 10sec one or 24hr? Dhs atrial fib was missed for years until he had. 24hr ecg and they said his heart was doing 200bpm at 2am 🙄
They wrote him off as anxious too.

Thanks both! @WarriorN, may I ask how old were you when your peri symptoms started? From what I've read, mine do sound like peri....I'm 45.
@Fluffycloudland77, I've had both. A couple of quick ones and a 24 hrs one less than a month ago ...

I think some signs started when I was late 30s, then I had another child and noticed how much better I felt for a year post partum. Then it started to return when I was around 42. Started hrt when really clearly struggling at 44. Was still as regular as clockwork! Hardest issue was pain and insomnia, inability to concentrate. Quite grumpy and had an annoying can't be bothered attitude about some things I used to enjoy. Over heating at night for a couple of years.

Low ferritin can cause palpitations as can peri menopause. I feel like after the pregnancy hormones wore off and periods started to return is when symptoms got bad. But it's always worth checking other things.

This time last year ferritin was around 30 and I was getting dizzy spells and more fatigue than normal. I raised it and dizziness reduced but with the general fatigue of peri I can't tell what's what!

If you're still breastfeeding you can take hrt btw.
