DS has had a bad cold over xmas and has had spots around his face. I showed the midwie at my ante natal apt on Thurs and she thought it could be just dry skin but if any more appeared to take him to doc as could be infection. He then gets another one near his eye last night which is inflamed all around it. But looks much better this am.
DD then goes to bed last night and wakes up crying saying her bits are sore and she is covered in the same sort of spots all around her bum and front.
They have both had chicken pox, however given it's New years eve and i am 39 + 2 i don't really fancy trip to doc (if it open)unless it really necessary! Do you think spots related or could it be sort of nappy rash. DD nearly 3 and only in nappies at night.
The spots are like small pin pricks and they seem to scab if they take the top off. TIA
