Has DS has broken my nose?!?!?!?

About a week ago we were on a bus, he was sitting on my lap. Suddenly he got very adgitated and threw his head back, WHACKED me on the nose. I heard a crack, and the person sitting next to me looked in horror!
I managed to not cry although it as agony, and it was slightly bruised when I got home.
Now, it is still sore, constantly running, and tingling
Should I go to the doctor? I assume there is nothing they can do anyway?

A friend of mine managed to break her own nose by running straight on to her patio glass door...
Do go to your GP and ask to be seen by an ENT specialist straigh away. They can and will set it back immediately, but the time limit for that to be done without surgery is 2 weeks. After that, if there is something wrong you'll need surgery. That is what my friend was told (she missed the 2 weeks 'deadline' and now has a bent nose...)
If your nose is not broken, nobody will be annoyed with you. If it is broken, it will be set again correctly. Get an emergency appointment tomorrow morning!

I would advise you to go and get it checked out as well because it can cause problems in the future. About 6 years ago my nephew accidently broke my nose and gave me mild concussion. As the fracture was undisplaced (think thats the correct term) they didn't need to do anything but I have a small scar and a very slight bump on side of my nose, it didn't help my chronic sinusitis.

Nobody was annoyed with me but I did give them a good laugh as to how it happened, at the time it was very painful but now I can laugh about it as well .

My ds broke my nose about a year ago! Went to A and E, told there is nothing they can do until the swelling goes down but my nose was obviously broken, and to expect a letter through the post.
2 weeks later, I was in surgery having my nose fixed.

Go to your doctor, and he'll beable to tell if it is broken.
