Has anyone been called back to breast clinic for good news??

Just clutching at straws here. Had routine mammogram (in my forties but family history)on Sunday. A suspicious area seen, had ultrasound and biopsy. Just had a letter to go back Tuesday for results from surgeons clinic.
Lump can't be felt by hand and was hard to find on ultrasound. It's 0.7 cm.
I just called the breast care nurse and she said that it's going to mdt this afternoon and the result will be ready on Tuesday.
Do ALL results go to mdt? Surely if it was nothing to worry about it wouldn't need it?
Going crazy here.
Any positive stories? Or any people with some knowledge on this please?

When you went to the breast clinic and saw the surgeon did they give you an indication of whether they thought it was cancer or not? IME they often have a pretty good idea on the day before they get the biopsy results.

I have to say if it's going to MDT that's usually to discuss treatment plans. Hope I'm wrong but either way this waiting in limbo is the absolute worst part, just torture and you'll soon know one way or the other.

If it helps, I had BC two years ago and my lump was thought to be 10mm but turned out, after surgery to be 7mm. Had surgery, chemo and radiotherapy and all good now.

Hi
I saw a breast nurse consultant and she said 'if I thought it was cancer I would tell you but I'm sitting on the fence on this one'.
Apparently, I have since found out, it is protocol that all core biopsies are taken to MDT before the patient is told the results.
I was just hoping for a phone call with them, not a clinic visit. The waiting is awful.

I'm glad you are sorted now, but I'm sorry you had to go through that.
