Okay... I’m on the cilique combined pill. I honestly have never been good at taking it at the right time, I aim for 7pm each evening but it can vary by up to a few hours, however I have rarely missed a pill.
I had my seven day break from the 17th-23rd January and was meant to start the next pack on Monday 24th however I needed to order more packs from the doctors and was away so ended up not getting them until Tuesday the 25th. I took the missed pill around midday Tuesday (so my break had been extended by a day) then took my next pill as usual at around 7pm Tuesday night. I was then sick at around 10:30pm. So I don’t know whether that will have absorbed probably and if not, does that count as another day missed?
Could I have ovulated from this? I felt pretty sick for those couple of days (to the extent I threw up on Tuesday night).
I had unprotected sex on sun 23rd and mon 24th. (I know sperm can live in you for a few days). I also had unprotected sex on sun 30th January too.
Today is Monday 31st, my boobs have felt the tiniest bit tender for a few days, this isn’t a usual symptom of anything for me while on the pill so maybe that is ovulation or potentially conception?? I feel nauseous again today.
I’m just curious really about other people’s experiences and whether my ‘missed’ pills at the start of a new pack could have actually caused immediate ovulation? And If I could have already conceived or whether maybe I am ovulating now?
