my 3.3 yrs old got lots of orange wax in her ears all the time..is that normal?

My DS is exactly the same but the speech therapist told me the other week that kids/babies with lots of orange wax have fewer hearing problems than those who have none.

It just means they're clearing the wax out rather than it getting built up inside.

My dd gets this too - even more noticeably before or after a cold or some other illness.
