the past 2 times i have had sex (normal sex, not rough) i have experianced slight bleeding afterwards, as i am a natural worrier with a tad of health anxiety i thought i ask for everyones opinion (wellmaybe not everyones or we could be here for a while ) right, also worth mentioning, my last smear was a year ago and it came back normal, in the past when ive had smears i have been told i have cervical erosion, now im aware this can cause bleeding but why start now when it hasnt in the past? also i am on cerazette so never know when im gonna have a period, i havent bled for over six months so i was wondering if my period is ready to come out so to speak coz last night dh was verrrrry gentle, barely even going in much tbh (tmi )please help.

i was on cerazette. I didnt have ANY periods on it at all either and that is common so dont worry bout that bit.

Bout the bleeding.. im guessing you havnet had baby or anything recently?

I would go to the doc if i were you. You need to rule out anything that could be wrong. Yes it prob is embarrasing but i had ds 18 mnt ago and had smear 2 months ago and sex has been painful since having ds, she sent me for internal u/s but all ok and i have it sorted now but do speak to doctor.

what time in your cycle is it? I was told that there are certain times when your cervix can change shape and become more sensitive (I've had a number of irregular smear tests/and treatment over years ) . Sounds like you may have this kind of issue if you've been told that there was cerival erosion but prob worth checking with gp/nurse.

I'd get it checked out tbh - better safe than sorry and if there is a problem, the earlier it is dealt with the better.

My experience of this was that I had it for a few months many years ago. It happened suddenly without any reason and it scared me enough to get my first smear (bloody idiot I was - hadn't gone before even though I should have). Everything came back fine and years later no repurcussions or reoccurances. That said, if it happened again, I'd be off to get it checked ASAP - sort of feel I owe it to all those women who found out there was a problem to late.
