i believe the shoulder pain started by sitting in a draught.
i use a mouse all day.
i struggle to lift my arm to wash my hair,
but someone must have some exercises to suggest?

How is the sensation in your fingers? Any numbness? However, this could be anything, have you seen a physio?

HeyBlaby · 20/01/2022 07:31

You need to see a physio, no one can advise properly over the internet as they cannot illicit the cause.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 20/01/2022 07:35

i cant afford a physio, assume it has to be via a GP referral?
ok thanks

Look up frozen shoulder and see if this fits your symptoms. Speaking from experience, you need different exercises/treatment for this than if it’s tendonitis or rotator cuff injury.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 20/01/2022 07:35

no numbness, just cold hand but that could be coincidence

There were two things that kept me awake with my arm. Tingling was low ferritin, and pain when I turned over was rotator cuff.

lightand · 20/01/2022 07:39

Sounds like frozen shoulder.
Assuming the process is the same as it was about 10 years ago, you will need to see a Gp, who will diagnose it, and refer you to NHS physiotherapy.

JosephineDeBeauharnais · 20/01/2022 07:45

Many practices offer physiotherapy first services which means you can book in with the physio directly. You should contact your practice or look at their website. You won’t have to pay.

good idea @JosephineDeBeauharnaisjoseph
