OK. For The Bubble Boys, as follows:

Paternal grandparents. Brown and Brown.

Maternal grandparents. Blue and Blue.

Parents. Blue and Brown.

DCs:

DS1 - Blue
DS2 - Blue
DS3 - Blue
DS4 - Brown

And yes. There is feck all on telly.

And don't get clever with any 'Aquamarine' or 'Hazel/Pecan' nonsense. Blue is blue and brown is brown for the purposes of this poll.

PG: Blue and Blue

I always assumed MY genes were dominant, having brown eyes and brown hair. But as MB's link shows, I was cruelly misled by simplified O-level biology.

Flame!! That's what dh's are like! In his army papers it says they are green, but then they were blue for several years. They are just a weird colour now - I think they are sort of blueish, but I could never definitively say!

Ooh yay - not the only freak!! They go a gorgeous shade of green when I am very healthy, very ill, or very angry (a bit like the hulk as DH helpfully pointed out)

BaubleMonkey · 26/12/2007 23:37

Oh and mine go green when I cry. DS's don't though.

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 26/12/2007 23:40

Very necessary

TheChristmasFaggot · 26/12/2007 23:43

The lack of gene would explain my DCs. I was always told that blue eye colour was recessive so was surprised to get blue eyed DCs.

Pat GM - very dark brown
Pat GF - dark brown

Mat GM - blue
Mat GF - brown

DH - very dark brown
Me - blue

our DCs?

  1. amazingly royal blue

TheChristmasFaggot · 26/12/2007 23:44

I'm another colour-change fraek too. Very pale and washed out when crying or tired. And yet the most beautifully blue after a rough night on the drink - which I no longer do, more is the pity.
