Fungal nail infection on all toes

My dp has a fungal nail infection on all of his toenails. Does anyone have any ideas of any miraculous thing we could try? He said he's had it for about 10 years been to doctors etc. He's going to go back to doctor next week but just wondering if anyone has had the same and is it curable? Or is he looking at losing all the nails?

Terbinafine tablets got rid of dhs fungal nail infection. He had to have regular blood tests as they can affect the liver I think

@dementedpixie thank you. Was this from the gp?

Yes it was prescribed by the gp

The tablets worked for me too - took about nine months though. Worth it!

I have it on my big toes. Due to how blinking impossible it is to see a GP at the moment, I have been paying to see a private podiatrist, who files/drills the nails down every couple of months and I've to spray them with lamasil spray twice per day.
