what could be causing the nausea? it feels like morning sickness, i'm totally knackered, have that metalic taste, and heightened sense of taste... have done several negative preg tests and got af yest. Any ideas?

oh blimey....

sounds like your thread title might need changing...

yellowbean · 23/12/2007 13:11

i'm so confused. this honestly feels like i am pregnant and having a period at the same time. I have 2 kids, you'd think i could figure this out by now! is it possible to change a thread title by the way?

you could be pregnant.. and having little bleeds at the time your period would have come.. or an implantation bleed at the beginning... some women do have little bleeds when they would have periods. ask for a blood test?

mumofmonSTARsOfBethlehem · 23/12/2007 13:26

i had what i thought was a light period - 2 days. I am now 28 weeks pg. I would arrange blood tests for after xmas

lazawreath · 23/12/2007 13:51

If it is feint, then you are pregnant

lazawreath · 23/12/2007 13:52

Congratulations!

yellowbean · 23/12/2007 13:54

but i have cramps like i would usually get with a period...so am i likely to be having a miscarriage? i had complications with last preg, which they think was a twin preg, that one twin was ectopic and one survived... and is toddling round the hall

I'm not sure. If you are getting intense pain then ring nhs direct. Ring them anyway of you are worried but they will advise you to get someone else to drive you to the hospital should you need to go. Ring nhs helpline now.
I'm sorry if you are miscarrying. Get yourself checked out asap.

yellowbean · 23/12/2007 14:08

its not intense pain and doesnt feel like last time, just feels like period cramps. its not one sided and i dont really wanna go to hospital if i can help it. its fresh red blood though... isnt implantation bleeding brownish? it doesnt look like what i normally get though... bit watery, no clots as usual

lazawreath · 23/12/2007 14:16

It's impossible to tell because everyone has different experince of pregnancy and miscarriage. When I had one I was only about five weeks and i got a terrible stomach ache the night before, then the following day i started bleeding. I had to go into hospital though in case it was ectopic. That's the only danger really. Ring nhs if it doesnt feel 'right' iyswim

yellowbean · 23/12/2007 14:34

thanks. i'll do another test in the morning and see what it says.. thanks for your help

I've been pg twice and both times had menstral type pain - totally normal I'd say. Only worry about the bleeding if it becomes as heavy as a heavy day of your normal period or contains big clots. Congrats

mumofmonSTARsOfBethlehem · 23/12/2007 20:22

i had period type pains for a while this time, even one sided for a while but it wasn't so bad that i needed any painkillers or Dr
