Worried about mole- anyone know anything about skin moles?

So, had a bit of a meltdown this morning. Looks like this mole has become a bit irregular and really freaking out about it. Does anyone know anything about moles, does this look scary? GP isn’t open until Wednesday, so can’t check with anyone. Any advice much appreciated.

Hi I had one similar on the side of my breast. It had been there for ages, but I noticed it change shape and had different shades of brown in it. I like you was terrified. Went to the GP and she literally took 2 seconds and told me it was a Seborrhoeic keratosis. Nothing to worry about at all. Try not to worry too much but get it checked out for peace of mind.

You can download an app to check it. I did it and then checked with doctor, same opinion.

Obv you should get this checked out by the doctor but I don't think you need to panic. It's tiny!
I also panic about moles and had a couple removed but the biopsies have come back all ok. Our skin changes so much over time.

Thank you everyone, I will get it checked out but the next couple of days will be less stressful as I wait for GP to reopen.

Try the Skin Vision app for some reassurance whilst you wait for an appointment. I had a melanoma and this app is brilliant for interim advice/diagnostics however it shouldn't be used instead of a Drs appointment. From my experience Drs aren't always great at diagnostics for melanoma especially if the presentation is atypical. If possible, when you book your appointment ask if you can see a Dr who has access to a dermatascope, its much better than them just doing a visual appraisal of the mole by the naked eye. It illuminates and magnifies the mole allowing for full visulisation of subsurface details which can reveal much more than just a quick look can.

I have one that looks similar, and have checked it multiple times - it's always been fine.

Look up 'Dysplastic Nevi' - should ease your mind!

That looks like some off my seborrheic keratoses. I'm covered in them and they're harmless. Keep an eye on it, mine disappear and reappear all the time.

I saw the doctor and have been referred to dermatologist, freaking out a bit but doc said that he would always send a mole for referral. I am pretty frightened though.
