does the pill make you fat?

I've just been put on the pill to treat my "enlarged ovaries"...didn't want to do it for ages as it always used to make me feel terrible when I was younger. Now I just feel really really hungry all the time. Is this normal? I also feel tired etc. but that might just be my life...

I don't know if it makes you fat but it did used to make me more hungry than when I wasn't on it iyswim

I used to blame the pill on that half stone I couldn't shift - but I think now it was an excuse.

I lost half a stone every time I came off the pill and put it back on every time I went back on it!

No no noooooo! Will have to just be hungry all the time, if I feel fat on top of everything else I will really not be able to cope.

There are pills around that aren't supposed to make you put weight on (Yasmin for example) so you could always ask your doctor to let you try them out.

I was always amazed that I lost the weight like that and then put it back on but never realised what was causing it. Perhaps if I'd realised it was the pill, I wouldn't have stuffed my face like a bloater every time I went back on it again .

is hard though I actually walked past mcdonalds yesterday and nearly went in for lunch, haven't done that since I was pregnant! Craving lovely hot greasy food...

Nope. The pill makes you greedy, and that makes you fat!

Not taling the pill can make you huuuuugggggeee for many, many months.

And for years after the baby is born.

I even managed to get pregnant on the pill so I got to be huuuuuuuuge and really hungry at the same time .
