A trip to the doctors.

Do you drink enough fluids during the day? Something like 80% of headaches are due to dehydrartion.

hmmm ah maybe that is it then. i hardly drink anything through the day, (but drink 2ltrs of water at night) except tea and coffee.
thank you.
i will start drinking loads of water and see if that helps

Go and have an eye test. Particularly if you are over 35 or if you already wear glasses or lenses. Please don't be alarmed, all I mean is that if your eyesight is in need of glasses (which can kind of creep up on you) your headaches may be due to eye strain.
This happened last year to a friend of mine who was flapping herself to bits that she might have a farking brain tumour - I gently suggested that as she was over 40 it might be her eyesight, and a couple of weeks later she was headache free and equipped with some quite sexy specs.

2 litres of water at night? That doesn't sound right. Try spreading your fluid intake evenly thro' the day.
Definitely check out your headaches with GP.
